The mission of the De La Salle Cadet Corps is to develop strong, capable,
responsible and Christian adult leaders who will positively affect
the world from their vocations as good spouses, parents, providers and
contributors for our world tomorrow.
St. Jean Baptiste de La Salle had a vision to affect change one soul at a
time through the formation of youth to be upright, moral, ethical and
responsible adult leaders who are good spouses, parents, providers and
contributors to the world around them. The benefit was primarily for the
betterment of the individuals he worked with; but the residual effect was
also to train people who would grow to bring about positive change and
transformation to our challenging world. Three hundred years later, the De
La Salle Cadet Corps strives to remain faithful to this very worthy mission
in each and every aspect of the training it provides to its members through
a program of practical leadership through repeated good example, directed
practice, and verbal explanation.
